JAMBI – The Jambi Regional Police (Polda Jambi) presented an award to Aipda Arjunif, S.I.P., a Bhabinkamtibmas officer assigned to Bathin II Bebeko Police Station, Bungo Resort Police (Polres Bungo), after he was named the Best Winner in the Individual Peace Category at the 2026 Kompolnas Award.
The award was presented directly by Jambi Police Chief Inspector General of Police Krisno H. Siregar, S.I.K., M.H., during the morning assembly of Jambi Police personnel at the Black Field of Jambi Police Headquarters on Monday (September 21, 2026).
The ceremony was attended by senior officials of the Jambi Regional Police, middle-ranking officers, and personnel from across the organization.
The Jambi Police Chief said the presentation of the award was not merely ceremonial, but represented appreciation and recognition for the dedication and achievements of police personnel.
“This award is not an ordinary ceremony. It is a form of appreciation and recognition for the dedication and achievements of police personnel. Moreover, the award received by Aipda Arjunif is the Kompolnas Award for Best Winner in the Individual Peace Category,” said the Jambi Police Chief.
He also expressed his pride in Aipda Arjunif’s achievement. According to him, the accomplishment demonstrates that police officers can serve the community through various fields, not only through law enforcement.
“I am pleased and proud that a member of the Jambi Regional Police has demonstrated outstanding performance and dedication, earning recognition at the national level. I believe there are still many police officers who have done good work and provided their best service to the community, even though not all of them have received public recognition,” he said.
The Jambi Police Chief reminded all personnel to continue doing good, carrying out their duties with discipline and responsibility, and maintaining the trust entrusted to them.
“Continue doing good even without being told. Carry out your duties with discipline and never betray the trust that has been given to you. Work sincerely, give your best in every duty, and never stop doing good,” he stressed.
In recognition of the achievement, the Jambi Police Chief also expressed his appreciation to the Bungo Police Chief and all personnel within the Bungo Police for their support of Aipda Arjunif.
“I would like to thank the Bungo Police Chief for providing support, enabling Aipda Arjunif to receive this award. Achievements can be attained not only through law enforcement, but also through various forms of public service and dedication to the community,” he stated.
The Jambi Police Chief emphasized that the award received by Aipda Arjunif should not be regarded as the end of his efforts, but rather as the beginning of an even greater responsibility.
“This achievement is not the end of the struggle, but the beginning of a greater responsibility. Make this award a motivation to continuously improve your performance and provide the best possible service to the community. Accept every criticism and suggestion as an opportunity for evaluation and self-improvement,” he explained.
During the occasion, the Jambi Police Chief also commended the implementation of Enhanced Routine Activities (KRYD) by police resorts and city police units across the Jambi Regional Police jurisdiction in maintaining public security and order.
“I appreciate the implementation of KRYD by the police resorts and city police units across the Jambi Regional Police jurisdiction, which has helped suppress activities involving groups of children and motorcycle gangs that have the potential to disturb public security and order. I instruct all Police Chiefs to continue strengthening KRYD activities to maintain a safe and conducive public security situation,” he said.
In addition, the Jambi Police Chief highlighted the importance of addressing forest and land fires (karhutla) across Jambi Province. He instructed personnel to strengthen early detection, map vulnerable areas, coordinate with relevant stakeholders, and respond rapidly to every forest and land fire incident.
“In dealing with forest and land fires, conduct early detection and mapping of areas with potential fire risks. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, respond quickly, and deploy personnel to the field to handle every incident,” he stressed.
The Jambi Police Chief also instructed the Jambi Regional Police Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) to investigate every forest and land fire incident. If indications of a criminal offense are found, legal proceedings must be carried out in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
“I instruct the Jambi Regional Police Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation to conduct investigations into every forest and land fire incident. If elements of a criminal offense are found, take immediate action in accordance with applicable laws and regulations,” he concluded.
Through the 2026 Kompolnas Award received by Aipda Arjunif, the Jambi Regional Police hopes that his achievement will inspire all personnel to continuously improve their performance, provide the best possible public service, and deliver meaningful dedication to the community.
