Jakarta – The Central Kalimantan Regional Police (Polda Central Kalimantan) has once again achieved an outstanding national-level accomplishment, securing four awards at the prestigious Kompolnas Award 2026.
The achievement was earned by Polda Central Kalimantan, Kotawaringin Barat (Kobar) Police, and two Bhabinkamtibmas officers from South Barito (Barsel) Police during the Kompolnas Award 2026 ceremony, held at the Ballroom of Hotel Sari Pacific, Jakarta, on Thursday evening (September 17).
The award ceremony was attended by Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs General of Police (Ret.) Djamari Chaniago, Chief of the Indonesian National Police General of Police Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Si., leaders and commissioners of the National Police Commission (Kompolnas), Kompolnas Award 2026 nominees, and other distinguished guests.
Central Kalimantan Police Chief Inspector General of Police Iwan Kurniawan, through Head of Public Relations Senior Commissioner of Police Budi Rachmat, stated that the Kompolnas Award 2026 serves as a form of appreciation from the National Police Commission for police units and personnel who demonstrate outstanding performance, innovation, and strong dedication to public service.
Among the awards received was 5th Place among the Best Regional Police Departments in Indonesia in the category of Outstanding Services and Innovation in Maintaining Public Security and Order (Harkamtibmas) and Responsive Public Services. The award was received by Deputy Chief of Central Kalimantan Police, Brigadier General of Police Drs. Yosi Muhamartha, on behalf of the Central Kalimantan Police Chief.
Meanwhile, Kotawaringin Barat Police received an award in the category of Best Police Resort in Public Services and Synergy with Regional Government and Stakeholders in Maintaining Public Security and Order.
Two Bhabinkamtibmas officers from South Barito Police also contributed to the achievement.
First, Aipda Yogi Friatno Setiawan received an award in the Individual – Partnership Group category. He was recognized for his strong dedication to community development, active involvement in preventing forest and land fires, efforts to promote food security, and his close relationship with residents and traditional community leaders in his area of responsibility.
Second, Brigpol Lidya Afrila Anisa, a female Bhabinkamtibmas officer, received an award in the Individual – People Group category. She was recognized for successfully applying a humanistic and innovative approach through educational programs, women’s and children’s protection initiatives, and public security and order literacy programs. Her efforts have made her an inspiration and helped strengthen public trust in the police.
“These achievements are a source of gratitude and pride for the leadership of the Central Kalimantan Police,” Senior Commissioner Budi Rachmat said when contacted on Friday evening (September 18, 2026).
“Alhamdulillah, this year Polda Central Kalimantan, Kotawaringin Barat Police, and two Bhabinkamtibmas officers from South Barito Police have successfully received the Kompolnas Award 2026. This achievement is the result of the hard work and sincere dedication of all personnel, as well as the support of the people of Central Kalimantan,” Budi said.
He also congratulated all the award recipients and encouraged them to use the achievement as motivation to continuously improve public services.
“Congratulations to all the award recipients. Let this achievement motivate us to continue improving our services, maintaining a humanistic approach, and becoming an example of a Presisi Indonesian National Police that is trusted and loved by the community,” he said.
The achievement is expected to further encourage all personnel of the Central Kalimantan Police to remain committed to being present for the community, taking concrete action, and providing meaningful benefits toward creating a safe, secure, and conducive Central Kalimantan.
